Description

Create a dedicated space for warmth and quiet with the Revel Virta 2 Person Traditional Outdoor Cedar Sauna. Its contemporary cabin design makes it a natural choice for a carefully planned garden or outdoor wellness area, offering a setting for shared sessions or time to yourself.

Japanese Cedar Character

Built from 40mm Japanese Cedar, also known as Sugi, the Virta combines distinctive timber grain with a natural aroma. Its glass frontage and matte-black detailing give the cabin a modern appearance.

Customise your sauna to match your preferred heat intensity and control style. For the 2-person Virta model, Revel recommends the Wall 4.5kW or 6kW heater, both deliver the same comforting heat, but the 6kW gets you there faster, especially in cooler seasons and climates. Each heater is available with manual controls, or can be upgraded to the Electronic version that is paired with the Xenio Digital or WiFi controller. These setup options offer efficient heat-up times, reliable performance, and intuitive controls, giving you the flexibility to fine-tune your sauna sessions to suit your lifestyle.

Key Features

FORM MEETS FUNCTION IN FINNISH TRADITION

The Virta is meticulously engineered with 40mm thick rustic cedar staves for exceptional heat retention and structural integrity. Its square cabin shape isn’t just a design choice, it’s a functional one, providing a generous flat ceiling area above the top bench where heat and steam naturally collect. This aligns with traditional Finnish design standards, which prioritise ceiling height and the bench-to-ceiling gap for optimal löyly. Every panel is carefully crafted for a snug, precise fit that ensures maximum durability and energy efficiency. Whether you're firing it up daily or just a few times a week, this sauna is built to last, giving you years of restorative wellness without compromise. With its commanding presence and resilient build, the Virta doesn’t just complement your space, it’s made to thrive in it, season after season.

PREMIUM JAPANESE CEDAR (SUGI)

Selected for its lightweight strength and signature scent, Japanese Cedar, or Sugi, brings a uniquely calming atmosphere to the Virta. Naturally rich in phytoncides, Sugi offers gentle antibacterial properties and a distinctive aroma that promotes deep relaxation from the moment you step inside. Its smooth grain feels soft against the skin, while its excellent heat retention ensures a consistent, comfortable sauna experience. Beautiful in tone and deeply rooted in Japanese wellness tradition, Sugi transforms every session into a multisensory escape.

ENHANCED AIRFLOW FOR OPTIMAL COMFORT

Say goodbye to stuffy, uneven heat. The Virta features a thoughtfully designed ventilation system that promotes consistent airflow and an even distribution of steam. Whether you’re relaxing solo or sharing the experience with others, you'll enjoy a comfortable, breathable sauna environment that supports deep detoxification and recovery.

BUILT-IN MOOD LIGHTING WITH CUSTOMISABLE COLOURS

Create your perfect atmosphere with integrated LED mood lighting. Choose from a spectrum of calming colours to suit your mood, whether you're winding down after a workout or enjoying a weekend wellness session. The subtle glow reflects beautifully off the tinted glass and cedar interior, enhancing both relaxation and ambience, making every session feel like a personalised escape.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN WITH SPACIOUS, OUTWARD-LOOKING BENCHES

A bold statement in modern sauna design, the Virta features a sleek black-edged front that frames the space with understated elegance. The contrast between the matte black trim, expansive tinted glass front, and the natural warmth of Japanese Cedar creates a balanced visual aesthetic, clean, contemporary, and sophisticated. The tinted glass not only adds a layer of privacy but also reduces glare from direct sunlight, making daytime sessions more comfortable and immersive. Inside, generously curved ergonomic seats are thoughtfully positioned to face out toward the glass frontage, inviting moments of introspection or quiet connection with the world beyond as you detox and unwind. More than just a design choice, the Black detailing enhances the sense of structure and presence, making the Virta as much a centrepiece in your home as it is a sanctuary for wellness.

COMPLETE PREMIUM SAUNA ACCESSORIES INCLUDED

From ladle to bucket and everything in between, your Virta comes fully equipped with a curated selection of premium sauna accessories, all finished in a sleek black aesthetic. No need to purchase extras, you’ve got everything you need to start your sauna journey from day one.

Additional Information

Traditional Heating, Your Chosen Setup

The Virta requires a compatible sauna heater and stones, purchased separately. Discuss the recommended Harvia 4.5kW and 6kW options with Revel Saunas South Africa to choose the appropriate heating and control configuration.

Light and Atmosphere

Integrated LED mood lighting lets you personalise the cabin’s atmosphere. Position the sauna thoughtfully to make the most of its outward-facing seating and glass frontage.
