Revel is the trading name of Revel Saunas (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2025/629348/07, and we are the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect when you use revelsaunas.co.za, visit our showroom, phone us or message us on social media, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

• We collect only the personal information we need to sell and deliver our products and to deal with your enquiries.
• Details you give us: name, phone number, email address, delivery and billing address, and the contents of your order, enquiry or message.
• Payment information: card payments are processed by our payment provider, and we do not see or store your full card number. If you pay by EFT, we keep the proof of payment you send us.
• Showroom visits: your name and contact details if you book an appointment or ask for a quote.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar tools.
• Social media and ad interactions: messages you send us on Facebook or Instagram, and information about how you interact with our adverts.

How and why we use your information

We use your information to fulfil your order and to run our business, and we only use it for the purposes below or for purposes closely related to them.

• To process and deliver your order, arrange installation, and handle returns, warranty and after-sales service.
• To reply to enquiries, quotes and showroom bookings.
• To keep records required by tax, consumer protection and other South African laws.
• To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.
• To improve our website, products and advertising.
• To send you news and offers, but only if you agreed to receive them, or you are an existing customer and we are marketing similar products. You can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or contacting us.

We process your information because it is necessary to carry out a contract with you, to comply with the law, to protect our legitimate interests, or because you have given your consent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we share it only with the people who help us serve you.

• Payment providers and banks to process your payment.
• Couriers, transporters and installers to deliver and install your order.
• Website hosting, IT and email providers who store or process data for us under confidentiality obligations.
• Advertising and analytics providers, such as Google and Meta, as described under cookies below.
• Professional advisers, regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside South Africa. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected to a standard comparable to POPIA.

Security, storage and retention

No system is completely secure, so if we become aware of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. Order and tax records are kept for at least five years, and enquiry and marketing records are kept until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• Ask us whether we hold your personal information and request a copy.
• Ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, outdated or no longer needed.
• Object to our processing of your information, or withdraw your consent, including for direct marketing.
• Ask us how we have used and shared your information.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za, where you can find its current contact details.

Children, changes and contact

Our website and products are intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
